Blogs combined

From the beginning of my blogging I was told that I was silly for keeping 2, one for personal and one for business but, I did it anyways because I am stubborn :) Now I have decided to combine the 2 blogs, Frese Frame which is my personal blog and The Frese Photography blog. I would like to be better at blogging and really the only way I am going to be more consistent is if I have less to do. Also, most clients become quick friends and I am happy to share my family happenings with you all. So as of today, please visit the not so new Frese Photography blog.

Love and blessings,
Kelley

The great car hunt

Tonight Joshua and I got to go car shopping without the kids. I have to say that I don't want to buy a new car. I would love to go back 15 days ago and do something differently so I could have my old Jeep back and Joshua's Camry. But, I can't so I will press on.

So I am a bit opinionated about what I want. It's simple really I want an SUV. i thought I wanted a Honda Pilot or a newer jeep grand Cherokee. Originally we were not even in the market for a new car but, then I went to the dealership. First I gave into Joshua's desire for me to drive a scion xb...yes the box car. The new body style is a improvement on the previous and it is an amazing price for a new car made by Toyota. I even test drove it and it handles nice. there is allot of leg room in the back seat but, the cargo area is not sufficient. After looking around a bit I now want a 2008 Toyota Highlander.
I don't know what to do.

I have not been very good at the blogging thing lately. So if there is anyone that still checks in on me sorry it's been crazy but, then again when isn't it?

Between being a wife, mom, photographer this time of year is busy to say the least. On top of all that our cars...yes both cars... we stolen from in front of our house almost two weeks ago. This sort of thing throws a kink in plans and well is inconvenient to say the least. 2 cars both paid for gone. I mean seriously? I have wanted a "new to me" car but, not like this and not right now. Seriously? We had plans for the money we will now be spending on a stinkin' car payment. God has other plans for our money.

I love the image of my missy above. I caught this just as her class was entering the sanctuary for their Thanksgiving performance. Her cute scrunched up nose. And the second one just cracks me up. Mr. Jonah (in the camo shirt)decided to join the kids for their performance. I was too busy with my camera to stop him and I didn't want to make a scene trying to retrieve him, so he stayed, sang and did the motions like he knew what he was doing...which he didn't, he's just a good copycat. After that emmy's teacher says to me, "He's ready (for preschool)"

blessings!

the BIG fresno fair

beautiful Allie bob-a
Drew-ski and Allie bob-a
Emmy cakes who doesn't like to look at the camera...
Joshua with Emmy and Jonah while Grandpa Frese tries to get them to smile.

Beautiful Emmy

THIS IS WHY WE GO TO THE FAIR.....FOOD

Not so much the rides because they are scary. Emmy did go on the pink Elephant ride with me. Joshua was in charge of keeping my camera safe, so we don't have any pictures of the momentous occasion. Usable ones at least. I love you honey but, we (meaning you) need so practice.

I'm a dork and I'm sure every shmo with a camera has taken this pic of the Yo- Yo ride but, I had yet to do it. And I have to admit that I am proud! I love night photography! I really need to get out and do it more.

We go to eat hot dogs, cotton candy, funnel cake and cinnamon rolls. See the cows, sadly no births this time and the sheep. Look at all the exhibits we will rarely buy from and of course the photography exhibit. O! I ran into one of my photography professors. He didn't remember me but, I quit his class about 6 weeks in.

We had fun, the kids had fun and we will look forward to next year.

These beautiful children are my niece and nephew with my sis in law who was about 8 months prego when these pictures were taken. It is fitting that today was the day that I finally had time to proof her pictures because my new niece was born. Funny thing is I think she was born about the same time I started working on these pics :) Sorry Laurie for the delay :)

I can't wait to meet little miss Jordan. Sadly they live in San Diego so it will be awhile :(

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

*if you haven't figured it out all ready if you click on "pictures" there is a link to the sideshow :)

Blessings!

growing up

Today was Emily's first day of pre school. I have so many mixed emotions about her going to school. I am happy because she is going. Happy to get some time with just Jonah. Sad because she is learning from someone else. Sad because she is not a baby anymore. But, I know this is going to be great for her and for me :)
We have been talking about what she will do at school. Learning to write her name, meeting new friends, playing out side and doing crafts. She got to wear her favorite dress today. This was not just good for her but, for me because we didn't argue over what to wear and why pj's aren't ok for school. When we got to school I decided to leave my camera in the car. She usually gets camera weird with me so I decided to just be there with her and for her instead of being crazy camera mom :) but, when we got up to the school there were other kids taking pics in front of the school sign and I asked Em if she wanted me to take her picture in front of the sign and she said, yes. We went back to the car and on the way she stumbled and scraped her knee a bit. This could have been the start of a bad drop off but, I was prepared :) I had owie medicine right in my purse :) jelly belly's :) she got one and we were all good. She let me take her pic in front of the sign and we went in to meet her teacher.
Mrs. Lobb in rm 20 is Emily's first "school" teacher. She warmly greeted Emily and showed her her cubbie hole and then directed Em to where Mrs. GG would help her make a name tag. Then Emmy was off playing with out a tear and barely a look. At one point I went to her to tell her I'd be leaving soon, suggested to her that she should introduce her self to the other kids, gave her a hug and kiss and said my good by's. I walked around snapping a few pics and talking to other parents and then quietly slipped out.
When I got home it was just me and Jonah. I wasn't quite sure what to do with him. Usually he and Emily are just doing their thing and me mine. I took the oppertunity to play with just him. We played blocks, Mr. Potato head and read a few books. before I knew it it was time to go pick up sister.
When we arrived she greeted us so enthusiastically.
"HI MOMMY!"
"Hi honey, did you have fun?"
"I made a friend, Zoey"
When she saw Zoey, she gave her a big hug. It was so cute. Then Mrs. Lobb came over and Em gave her a big hug too. Mrs. Lobb said that it was a good day and that Em was a good girl :) I know she is but, it melts my heart that she is with others as well.

O there is more but, you get the gist.

Till next time.
